Prologue: In the Beginning

This section lays the foundation for the rest of the book through the introduction of spiritual philosophy and truth. The information presented will challenge people's views and perceptions as to their place within the galaxy and the history of mankind, inspiring them to read on and uncover the truth.

The story of the creation of the universe is told from a spiritual perspective, explained in simple, easy to understand terms. The concepts discussed include The Void or sleeping consciousness that existed before the big bang, as well as the two polarities of light and dark, or good and evil. Evil is entirely a man made concept, and by itself does not exist. It is simply holding the light in check in order to maintain balance. God cannot be separated from man as both sprang from The Void. As we are aspects of God, He chooses to experience Himself through us. Other topics include the evolution of the soul through reincarnation, the human energy system, guides, angels and Ascended Masters.

Part One: The Real Story of Creation?

Chapter One: Bones of Contention
Chinless Wonders; Family Tree or Family Forest; Accident or Design; Evolution or Intervention

The opening chapter discusses the various theories of evolution. These include the Out of Africa theory and Multi-regional model, as well as the debate between Creationists and Darwinists. We also discuss the difference between Intelligent Design and Intelligent Intervention. Intelligent Design knows how to achieve its ends without experimentation, whereas Intervention requires time to perfect its results.

The Out of Africa theory and Multi-regional model both state that the first migration from Africa by homo erectus took place around one million years ago. The Out of Africa theory states that a second migration occurred around 100,000 years ago, by descendants of Homo sapiens who evolved in Africa from Homo erectus. These people then migrated to Europe and Asia, replacing all other populations and species. The Multi-regional model contends that modern man did not evolve separately in Africa, but rather from Homo erectus after he left Africa, simultaneously in different parts of the world. However, this does not explain the presence of Homo erectus skulls found in Java, Indonesia and dated to 28,000 BCE.

The real mystery is not how and where did mankind evolve, but why the sudden leap forward occurred approximately 40,000 years ago with the explosion of cave art and the beginnings of organised settlements.

Chapter Two: We Are Not Alone
The Roswell Conspiracy; The Truth is out there; The Alien Dwarfs

This chapter presents the evidence for the existence of UFO's, charting both the crash at Roswell and the authors own personal sightings. Evidence of man's extra terrestrial origins is provided by the discovery of stone discs found in China, which contain a message regarding a strange group of people living in a remote part of the country, indicating that they have extra terrestrial origins.

Chapter Three: Our Celestial Ancestors
Myth or History; Heavenly Hosts; Loftier than Thou; The Celestial Battle

Chapter Three discusses the creation myths from a variety of different cultures around the world that mention the extra terrestrial links. These include ancient Greece and Egypt, as well as the Australian Aborigines and the Dogon tribe of West Africa.

Particular attention is paid to the mysterious Nephilim as mentioned in the Book of Genesis and the real meaning of this term. This term is often mistranslated as meaning giants or fallen angels. The word actually derives from the Semitic NFL, meaning 'those who were cast down.'

The Nephilim then, were not the fallen angels they are portrayed as, but rather souls which represent a blending of both human and angelic energy, angels who 'fell' into human form or physicality. Cylinder seals from ancient Sumer as deciphered by Zecharia Sitchin reveal these as the Mesopotamian gods, who are credited with teaching these ancient people the arts of civilisation.

Chapter Four: The Nibiruan Council
Planet X, It's only a Game, The Illuminati and the Borg

Ancient texts from within Mesopotamia depict these same gods as coming from an unknown planet within our own solar system. This planet, known as Nibiru, is the so called missing Planet X. Nibiru is a peace keeping battle star remarkably similar to that in the science fiction television series Babylon 5. It is inhabited by a variety of different races from around our galaxy, representing the interests of their particular home worlds. This chapter gives a broad overview of what life is like on Nibiru, detailing the events that led up to its formation.

The two races within our galaxy are the Humans and the Reptiles. The Humans represent the polarity of light, whilst the Reptiles represent the dark. Each was given conflicting creational myths. This inevitably led to a number of conflicts, the aim of which is polarity integration. Through this, the two races would know and experience both light and dark, integrating both into one complete whole. Once integration has occurred, they will then be reunited with their source, God. It was these conflicts that led to the formation of Nibiru and the Galactic Federation of Worlds as a peace keeping force.

Chapter Five: The First Ones
Spirit and Matter; The Birth of Gaia; Star Wars

This chapter tells the hitherto unknown history of Earth from 35 million years ago to the formation of the Lemurian empire approximately 900,000 BCE, including the many conflicts with the Reptiles. These have led to the destruction of both Human and Reptilian colonies, amongst them Venus, Mars and Hybornea, the first advanced human settlement on Earth. Hybornea is referred to in Greek mythology as a mythical land that lay to the north. The remains of this may well be buried beneath Antarctica.

The Enuma Elish or Babylonian Epic of Creation, details a great celestial battle where an invading planet destroyed a previously unknown planet referred to as Tiamat. This lay between Mars and Jupiter, where the asteroid belt now stands. Tiamat was destroyed as a means of finally ending the Human/Reptilian conflict. It was smashed into two, with half becoming Earth and half the asteroid belt.

Chapter Six: The Mu-therland
The Ring of Fire; Pacific Puzzlers; Solving the Riddle

The Lemurian civilisation was formed in the Pacific Basin 100,000 years after the destruction of Hybornea. Lemuria formed the blueprint for all later civilisations on Earth through its series of daughter empires in Egypt, China, Peru, central Europe and Atlantis. For this reason, Lemuria is often referred to as Mu, meaning mother land. These five daughter empires formed the basis for the five root races of man referred to by the sleeping prophet, Edgar Cayce.

This chapter presents the evidence for and against the Lemurian civilisation, discussing amongst other things the Pacific ring of fire and myths and legends from throughout the Pacific region. A variety of megalithic artefacts have been found throughout this region, pointing to an early advanced civilisation. These include the ruins of Nan Matol in the Caroline Islands, ancient concrete cylinders in New Caledonia and the statues of Easter Island.

Chapter Seven: Living on Light
The Wheel Turns; The Golden Age; All that Glitters

Chapter seven charts the rise and fall of the Lemurian Empire from its inception 900,000 years ago to the creation of its daughter empires around 500,000 BCE. Lemuria can be seen as a grand experiment which was created as a safe haven for man to grow and evolve, separate from the rest of the world. The remainder of the world was left to evolve according to Darwinian theory. Over time the Lemurians developed their series of daughter Empires, including Atlantis. It was this that ultimately led to the Lemurians demise.

Lemurian society was based on four laws known as the laws of one, two, three and four. Each of these governed different aspects of man's relationship to the cosmos, both to the immediate community in which he lived and to the galaxy as a whole. Society was divided into a number of different clans representing the service or life path of each group of individuals. Examples of these in modern society would include those who work in the arts or medicine.

Part Two: Evolution and Devolution

Chapter Eight: Plato's Proposition
The Significance of Seven; Lost Continent called Myth; Presenting the Evidence

There are many cultures around the world that talk of a lost island continent that disappeared into the sea. As myth is often seeded from fact, these should not be ignored. In this chapter the Atlantean myth is discussed in depth. A variety of different sources are used, such as Plato and various Native American myths in order to establish its possible whereabouts and geological history.

Chapter Nine: The Crystal Kingdom
Divine Inheritance; Keeping the Balance; The All Seeing Eye; Faith Moves Mountains

Atlantis began as one of five daughter empires of Lemuria. Her history can be divided into three epochs, the Old, Middle and New Kingdoms. Chapter nine concentrates on the first of these two, detailing everyday issues of day to day life. Particular attention is paid to the raising of children and their education, as well as healing and different aspects of the Priesthood.

Chapter Ten: Earth Mission
The Gold Rush; Mutiny in the Abzu; Adam's Rib

We now return to the Nibiruans and their arrival on Earth 480,000 years ago. This was brought about by the end of the Great Galactic War with the Reptiles, which left the Nibiru vulnerable to the radiation sweeping through space. The Nibiruans came to Earth in order to mine gold which was used to protect the atmosphere of Nibiru and its inhabitants.

This chapter details the journey to Earth and the creation of the first settlements in ancient Sumer, as told in the Book of Genesis. The gold itself was mined in Africa, but 250,000 years ago the Nibiruan miners mutinied, refusing to continue their work. It was this that led to the creation of man through the genetic manipulation of our ancestor, Homo erectus.

As hybrids early man lacked the vital chromosome that was necessary to reproduce. Enki and Ninmah, their Nibiruan creators were put to sleep and the chromosome extracted from their ribs. This is what was meant by the Biblical references to Eve being created from Adam's rib, as these were the first two to be given this chromosome.

Chapter Eleven: Adam's Genus
The Missing Link Explained; The R Complex; The Brotherhood of the Snake

Evidence of our extra terrestrial ancestry comes from the Human Genome Project, as scientists have discovered 223 genes that are not found in any species to which we are related. These genes contain proteins inherited via the mother, so must have come from our single female ancestor, mitochondrial Eve. I believe these genes are Nibiruan in origin. This explains the so called missing link.

Chapter eleven reveals the true identity of the Biblical serpent as Enki, one of the two Nibiruans who created mankind. This serpent was not the negative force he is portrayed as. He simply revealed to Adam and Eve the true nature of their being. In order to do this he started a mystery school that was known as the Brotherhood of the Snake. This knowledge formed the basis for the Great White Brotherhood, which was later taken to both Lemuria and her daughter empires.

Chapter Twelve: The Sleeping Prophet
The Umbilicus Breaks; Skullduggery; A Two Tiered Existence; Inner-spiration

Edgar Cayce was one of the most gifted psychics of our time, who provided us with much information on both Lemuria and Atlantis. He is known as the sleeping prophet, since much of his work was carried out in a trance state.

Chapter twelve deals with the destruction of Lemuria at the hands of the Atlanteans, who wished to attain supremacy. The Atlanteans were aided in their endeavours by Marduk, Enki's youngest son and chief God of Babylon. Marduk gradually infiltrated the scientific and ruling classes, leading to a gradual debasement of Atlantean society through the abuse of technology, as well as the control and manipulation of the populace.

Society became divided into different castes, those with and without psychic and spiritual gifts. Those without gifts were ostracised and banished from society. Two enlightened beings prayed for a solution, a means of equalising society by the enhancement of the lower caste's latent gifts. This system, known as Inspiration, later evolved to form the Reiki system that we know today.

Chapter Thirteen: Erratic Assumptions
A Global Cataclysm; Wreath of Destruction; Phoenix Rising

Atlantologists surmise that the sinking of the continent was brought about by the end of the Ice Age, when sea levels rose. What in turn though caused this? Extensive animal remains and geological evidence suggest a great cataclysm around the end of the Pleistocene Epoch, circa 10,000 BCE. Rather than ending the Ice Age, it was this that actually caused it. This cataclysm was twofold; the destruction of Atlantis by a comet, and the destruction of the Firmament. This was a thick band of moisture encircling Earth, responsible for its lush, green atmosphere, hence the references to Atlantis having two harvests each year. This in turn also led to Noah's flood.

Chapter Fourteen: Fair Gods and Dark People
Narcotics Ambiguous; Pyramid Wars; Inanna and the Pyramid of Doom

Following the destruction of Atlantis, the Nibiruans returned to Earth to begin rebuilding. Five areas were earmarked for colonisation; Sumeria, Egypt, China, Mexico and India. Chapter fourteen concentrates on the Mexican colony, which evolved to form the Olmec Empire.

This chapter also details the battles between Osiris and Seth, who were gods of Egypt and younger sons of Enki. There are many theories as to how, why and when the pyramids were built, none of which come close to explaining their true mystery. Contrary to popular belief, the Giza pyramids were never designed as tombs. This is based on a second hand viewpoint by Greek historian Herodotus, and cannot be regarded as fact.

Chapter Fifteen: The Egyptian Connection
The Scorpion King; The Big Bang; The Love of Power; The Power of Love

The Egyptian theme continues in chapter fifteen, where the history and origins of this remarkable civilisation are discussed, from pre-dynastic times to the time of unification in 3113 BCE. It is interesting to note that this date also corresponds to the beginning of both Olmec and Mayan calendars. The identity of the Egyptian creator god Ptah is revealed as Enki, and Ra as Enki's son Marduk, chief god of Babylon.

Marduk's ambitions led him to seek total control of not just Egypt, or even Earth, but the entire galaxy. When Marduk seized control of Nibiru, it was decided to detonate the space facilities, located near the Dead Sea, by means of a nuclear bomb. This explains the unusually high radioactivity observed in this area. The explosion also caused the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah, which happened to be nearby.

Part Three: Shades of Light and Dark

Chapter Sixteen: Essene and Not Heard
Sons of the Sun; The Way, the Truth and the Life; Moses, Prince of Egypt

The Essenes are an Earthly branch of an organisation known as the Great White Brotherhood, a conglomerate of Ascended Masters who exist in the higher dimensions as part of Earth's Spiritual Hierarchy. Various mystical schools were united under this umbrella, assuming different names in different locations. The Essenes were the Palestinian branch. The headquarters of the Great White Brotherhood were located at Heliopolis in Egypt, headed by Pharaoh Tuthmose III.

The Essenes claimed to have received their esoteric teachings from Moses during his time spent wandering in the desert. Their teachings were known as The Way, and were based on daily communions with the various invisible forces and angels which direct our universe. All of these could be seen to correspond to one of the seven Atlantean Royal families.

Moses may have been Tuthmose, Akhenaton's elder brother, who disappeared two years before the death of his father, Amenhotep III. Tuthmose was a former soldier and Priest at the Temple of Ra. According to the Greek historian Manetho, the Hebrew slaves were helped by a Priest from the Temple of Ra who had abandoned the gods and been condemned to bondage. This Priest was also a former soldier, as was Tuthmose. The original Hebrew rendering of Moses was Mose, leading to speculation that the two men were one and the same.

Chapter Seventeen: The Heretic Pharaoh
Desert Princes; Father of Creation; 55: The Number of the Christ

Chapter seventeen deals with the most infamous period of Egyptian history, known as the Amarna heresy. This was led by the so called heretic Pharaoh Akhenaton, who abandoned the worship of the traditional gods in favour of just one, known as the Aten. This is described as an omnipotent, androgynous force symbolised by the rays of the Sun. The aim was to bring spirituality back into the Egyptian religion, the truth of man's divine nature and who he truly is. As great grandson of Tuthmose III, Akhenaton was party to much of the teachings from the Great White Brotherhood, eventually becoming Grand Master in his own right.

He reigned for just seventeen years after which all references to him and his god were removed. There then followed a series of short lived Pharaoh's, culminating in the death of boy king Tutankhamun. Egypt was then placed under effective military rule by the next Pharaoh, ex Army General Horemheb. He attempted to erase all memory of Akhenaten's rule and the so called Amarna Kings thus altering our entire perception of this era in the process.

Chapter Eighteen: The Emissaries of Light
Peace Troubadour; The Pendulum Swings; Beloved by Name, Beloved by Nature

In 1995 American author and singer James Twyman was invited to Bosnia to perform some peace concerts. Through a series of synchronistic events, he found himself drawn to a secret society known as the Emissaries of Light, or Beloved Community. This was founded by the same Beloved Disciple as mentioned in the Bible.

The community was formed after the crucifixion of Jesus in order to safeguard the secrets which Jesus had passed to John, the Beloved Disciple; secrets which originated with the Great White Brotherhood. The community can therefore be seen as one more branch of this same organisation.

The aim of the modern Beloved Community is to embody the presence of divinity through every aspect of life, thus creating a world of peace. This is achieved by uniting both masculine and feminine aspects within ourselves. This has nothing to do with gender, but rather, completion and balance, uniting the two halves of our soul.

Chapter Nineteen: The Sorcerer Kings
Descent and Dissent; The Ultimate Betrayal; The Counsel of One

This chapter traces the history of the Merovingian Kings of France, believed by many to be the descendants of Jesus and Mary Magdalene. The idea of a marriage between Jesus and Mary Magdalene found widespread acceptance with books such as The Holy Blood and the Holy Grail, which was first published in 1982.

The Merovingians are descendants not just by blood, but also by the knowledge that was passed to them by Jesus' Disciples who fled to France after the crucifixion. The alliance was sealed through intermarriage between the Merovingian bloodline and the descendants of Joseph of Arimathea, the Uncle of Jesus. This is confirmed by channelled information from French husband and wife Anne and Daniel Meurois-Givaudan, authors of The Way of the Essenes.

The chapter also provides details of the pact made between Clovis I, one of the best known Merovingian Monarchs and the Roman Catholic Church, the Church's subsequent betrayal of the pact, and the real reasons behind this.

Chapter Twenty: The Knights of the Round Temples
The Rex Deus Bloodline; Raiders of the Lost Ark; Trial in Error

Chapter twenty charts the history, and rise and fall of the Knights Templar movement, from their origins in the 11th Century CE through to their trial at the hands of the Inquisition. New information is provided regarding why they were granted part of King Solomon's Temple as their headquarters.

The original nine Knights were members of a group of families known as Rex Deus, who claimed descent from the Davidic and Hasmonean Royal families from the time of Jesus. The Temple in Jerusalem maintained two schools, one for boys and one for girls, of the Rex Deus bloodline. These were administered and taught by the High Priests, who were given angelic names according to their rank. A female pupil known as Mary became pregnant by the High Priest known as Gabriel. The resultant offspring was the man whom we refer to as Jesus. Although outwardly the Rex Deus families followed the prevailing religion of the time, inwardly they also preserved the Rex Deus traditions known as The Way. The Essenes also referred to their teachings as The Way suggesting that these two organisations are linked.

Chapter Twenty One: The Hidden Church
Lovers of God; Alluding to Reality; Stairway to Heaven; Healing Hands

This chapter discusses the history and origins of the Cathar movement, from its roots in the 3rd Century CE, to the start of the Albigensian Crusade in 1208 CE. The author discusses in detail the links between the Cathars and various other sects, such as the Manicheans and Bogomils, both of whom had their roots in the Great White Brotherhood. This chapter includes little known information regarding the beliefs of the Cathars, including their healing techniques and initiation rites.

Chapter Twenty Two: In the Name of the Father
Death and Dishonour; Sacred Mountain, Sacred Texts; The Holy-caust

Here we look at the campaign against the Cathars by the Roman Catholic Church, known as the Albigensian Crusade. This was one of the longest running wars in all of history, lasting nearly 35 years, which pitted Christian against Christian. Thousands of innocent men, women and children were slaughtered wholesale and indiscriminately simply for their beliefs. The Crusade finally came to end in 1244 CE with the sacking of the fortress of Montsegur, and subsequent burning of 216 Parfaits or Cathar Priests. Details are also provided of the Cathars sacred texts and possible links with Mary Magdalene.

Chapter Twenty Three: The Priest, his Housekeeper and their Secret
The Secret of God; What was the Question; The End is Nigh; Goodnight Vatican

Rennes le Chateaux is a small village located in southwest France, which conceals a hidden secret. This comes in the form of several ancient parchments that were found in the late 19th Century by the village Priest, Francois Beringer Sauniere. These secrets appear to have been shared with his housekeeper, Marie Denarnaud.

Many have debated as to exactly what these parchments contained, but it seems to have made Sauniere a very rich man. Theories abound as to where these funds came from. It seems likely that he was being paid by someone to keep whatever secret these parchments revealed. Many believe that this someone was in fact the Vatican.

It is thought that Sauniere found evidence to suggest that Jesus fathered a dynasty whose ancestors formed the Merovingian line. The chance discovery of tombstones and artefacts from a Merovingian cemetery during excavations to lay a new water pipe only adds to the mystery.

Part Four: By Hook or By Crooked

Chapter Twenty Four: Faith Hope and Bribery
On Earth as in Heaven; Recriminations and Reflections; The Heart of the Matter

This chapter explores the differences between organised religion and spirituality. It covers the different ways in which the Roman Catholic Church has used fear to control the population, citing the reasons behind the introduction of concepts such as hell and purgatory, and the suppression of so called heretical texts.

Chapter Twenty Five: The Alpha and Omega
Keeping the Faith; The Truth, the Holy Truth and Nothing but the Truth; Losing the Battle but Starting the War

Recent years have seen a dramatic fall in Church attendance within all Christian denominations. The Church's solution to this drop in attendance was in part to launch the Alpha course. This is a ten week course designed as a means of presenting the basic principles of the Christian faith to would be Christians in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. This chapter details the author's own experiences of the Alpha course, and why she believes, far from being their salvation, it will actually hasten their downfall.

Chapter Twenty Six: Know Yourself
The Dreamer Awakens; Transcending the Illusions; The Divine Feminine

In this chapter the principles of Gnosticism are discussed, and comparisons made between these ancient beliefs and modern spirituality. Many of these beliefs had their origins in the Great White Brotherhood, whose ranks included the Essenes. Since it seems likely that Jesus was himself an Essene, these beliefs are closer to the original Christianity than what the Church teaches today.

Over time the Christian faith became corrupted by greed, ambition and power, becoming far removed from its Gnostic roots. These ancient Gnostic schools were forced to exist in secret, amid heavy persecution by the Church. The secrecy led people to question their motives, believing they had something to hide. The concealment had nothing to do with exclusivity, but more to do with safeguarding information, ensuring that it would not be abused. Mankind is now approaching the point where we are ready to integrate these truths more fully. This is witnessed by the resurgence of modern Gnostic schools such as the Beloved Community and channelled books including A Course in Miracles and Conversations with God.

Chapter Twenty Seven: Canon Fodder
The Source; Unnatural Selection; The Gospel of Jesus; Defending the Faith

The Bible did not exist until the 4th Century CE, when the meeting of the Council of Nicaea was convened. The aim of this was to establish Church unity, as many different factions were beginning to emerge. As a result, all the different books were gathered together and those that did not agree with Church orthodoxy were destroyed. Fortunately many of them, including the Nag Hammadi Texts and Dead Sea Scrolls have since been re-discovered. It is obvious from the differences between these ancient texts and the Bible that heavy and selective editing has taken place in order to conceal the evidence and maintain the Church's power over the masses.

Many of the Gnostic beliefs contained within these texts formed an intrinsic part of the early Christian faith. Despite the Church's assertions, they are not heretical at all. In actual fact the Church are the real heretics, as they were, and in many cases, continue to be driven by love of power, rather than power of love.

Chapter Twenty Eight: Vestals and Virgins
Moments of Transition; Saints or Sinners; Mistranslations and Misperceptions; Heavenly Host

Here we look at the details surrounding the birth and life of Mary, mother of Jesus. Particular attention is paid to Biblical mistranslations of the word virgin, which in the original Hebrew actually meant young woman. Mary then was not the virgin she is portrayed as. During her own youth she was a vestal in one of Jerusalem's many Temples. This was not the Jewish Temple as most scholars assume, but the Essene Temple of Helios. Both Mary and Joseph, and therefore Jesus himself, were members of the Essene movement.

Jesus and the two Mary's (his mother and Mary Magdalene) were three aspects of the same Nephilim soul. Mother Mary carried the Gabriel energy of water, hence the fact that she was visited by this angel. Mary Magdalene carried the Michael energy of fire and passion, hence her own fiery, passionate nature. Jesus carried both of these energies.

Chapter Twenty Nine: Bridge of Reunion
A Cross to Bear; Ladies and Gentile Men; Away in a Manger; Signs and Portents

This chapter discusses the birth of Jesus and the nature of his being. He was not as Christians state, the Christ, but rather a conduit for this energy, as the word Christ means anointed. He was also a conduit for the Matreya force. The Matreya is an energetic construct which acts as a bridge between man and God. This is what is meant by the term son of God.

Contrary to popular belief, Galilee at that time was not exclusively Jewish, but populated by many different groups of mystical persuasion, chief amongst them the Essenes. It was to the Essene hospice near Bethlehem that Mary was brought to give birth. These were large structures built underground, more like caves than stables. This chapter also details the visit by the three wise men, or Magi and the mystical meaning behind their gifts.

Chapter Thirty: The Missing Years
His Father's Son; Around the World in Eighteen Years; Return to the Beginning

Chapter thirty aims to demystify many of the myths surrounding the life and times of Jesus, paying particular attention to his early life, training and travels around the world. Many of the so called lost Gospels are utilised as a source of reference material, highlighting the differences between what we have been taught, and what many of these books say. Amongst the subjects discussed are his schooling amongst the Essenes, his relationship with his parents, and what really happened during his visit to the Temple at the age of twelve.

His birth name was Joseph rather than Jesus, and it was under this name that he was enrolled at the Essenes great school of learning near Mount Carmel. The Gospel of Matthew states that Mary shall bring forth a child, who shall be known as Jesus, not that he would be named Jesus, but rather that he would attain this name. It was after his return from extensive travel overseas, and initiation into the Christhood as an Ascended Master that he finally attained this name, becoming known as Jesus the Christ.

Chapter Thirty One: Realm of the Gods
Baptism by Fire; The Ear Hears but the Heart Listens; The Sacred Marriage; Speaking in Tongues

This initiation into the Christhood took place in the Kings Chamber of the Great Pyramid in Egypt. This acts a map of the Duat or Egyptian underworld. The paths to the three chambers represent the different paths that the soul can take after death; ascension, reincarnation or in between. The path to the Kings Chamber represents the path of ascension, or reunification with God.

Following his initiation, Jesus was baptised by John the Baptist in the River Jordan. Here we look at the work of the Baptist and his own Disciples, and the beginnings of the Jesus ministry. The Bible frequently mentions going into the wilderness and climbing mountains. These were not literal statements, but rather symbolic of the need to connect with Earthly and heavenly forces respectively.

Amongst the subjects discussed are the nature of miracles and the true meaning of the parables. Information is also provided regarding the Disciples and the nature of Jesus' relationship with Mary Magdalene. The twelve Disciples mentioned in the Bible were the core inner group, or executive committee of a larger band of 120.

Chapter Thirty Two: A Beacon unto the Darkness
Reflections of the Self; The Anointing; Sliding to Oblivion

This chapter discusses Jesus' ministry and teachings, concentrating mainly on the Sermon on the Mount, since this appears to form the cornerstone of his teachings. We discuss the true meaning of statements such as 'hiding your light' and 'judge not that you be judged'.

The ministry can be divided into three stages - preparation, illumination and transfiguration. For illumination we can read enlightenment and passing that illumination on to others. The final stage of transfiguration was the revealing of the prophecy surrounding his death to the twelve Disciples. In the Bible this is symbolised by the anointing with spikenard by Mary Magdalene.

In late 2003, James Twyman managed to obtain a small amount of this oil which was sold via his website to those wishing to participate in the spikenard experiment. The results, detailed here make very interesting reading.

Chapter Thirty Three: Passing through Gethsemane
Forsaking all Others; The Truth of Life; Iconic Refuge

The closing chapter discusses the events leading up to and after the crucifixion, including the betrayal by Judas Iscariot and the symbolism behind the six wounds. Further details are also provided of the 120 Disciples and what they did next.

After the crucifixion, many including Mary Magdalene fled to France where they continued to impart his teachings. Mary Magdalene, as mother of his two children Sarah and James, founded a mystery school based around the teachings of the Book of Love. This later became one of the Cathars holiest texts. The identity of James is revealed as none other than James of Compostella in Spain. Sarah is the same Sarah the Egyptian as mentioned in legends from the south of France.

The spear that pierced Jesus' side is often taken as proof of death, but this was designed to prolong life by creating a pneumothorax, or pocket of air around the lungs. Jesus did not die, but survived the cross. He eventually travelled to Kashmir, where some say he is buried. The ascension was not a bodily thing, but rather spiritual.

The book, and chapter concludes by stating how ironic it is that such a cult of religious dogma and doctrine has sprung up around Jesus' life and ministry when this was the very last thing he wanted. The way to God is through our own hearts and minds, not through blind faith and obedience to a remote Priesthood whose infallibility cannot be challenged.
